We are currently seeking either a Trade Qualified (Chippy/Roofer/Plumber etc.) or an experienced Labourer to join our team as a Solar Installer at G-Solar Cairns!
The role
This role is suitable for someone Trade Qualified (Any trade) or someone who is experienced in working on construction sites, using hand tools and working at heights.
Working alongside some of the most experienced tradesmen in the industry, you will:
- Install racking on roofs
- Assist in panel installation
- Assist electricians
- Commercial and residential sites
- Train younger and more inexperienced team members
- Possibility to become a roof team leader and advance your career
- Possibility to upskill - Truck license/EWP etc.
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated person who is not afraid of heights and wants the chance to work with a great team.
- Working at heights & white card an advantage - Otherwise, we are happy to get this sorted for you!
- Current Driver's License required
- Trade qualified - Advantage
- Experience in working at heights - Advantage
- Experience in using hand tools and working on residential/commercial construction sites - Advantage
