About the role:
Our Taringa Fertility Clinic is looking for an experienced Sonographer (casual contract) with an interest in women’s health that can perform high quality IVF follicle tracking ultrasounds for patients during their IVF cycle.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Produce high quality follicle tracking scans
- Ensuring that appropriate documentation of findings is maintained and that significant findings are communicated to the Fertility Specialist
- Provide patients with exceptional care and support, according to the care plan directed by the Fertility Specialist
- Follow established protocols
- Ensure effective communication is delivered to internal stakeholders and patients
- Coordinating and managing ultrasound examinations to ensure optimum patient examination according to need
- Mentoring IVF Nurses and Midwives as they learn and perform follicle tracking ultrasound scans alongside you
Ideally you will bring:
- Diploma of Medical Ultrasound Part II or Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography or equivalent
- A genuine interest in IVF and women’s health
- Customer service orientation and emotional intelligence
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and proficient communication skills
- Superior organisational and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
