Our Client is one of the largest meat distributors in Australia and currently have vacancies available for an experienced TA for there Waste Water Treatment Operation.
There will be a range of scheduled maintenance, breakdown work, fault finding/troubleshooting, commissioning of new machines, and installs/repairs.
You could also be working closely with maintenance teams on site. Would need to be happy working around food and being within a cold environment.

Site and Position Information:

• Full time: Permanent Role
• Wacol Location: Brisbane Western Suburb
• SHIFT: Day shift - 6 AM to 2:30 PM
• Monday to Friday + Weekend OT

You Must Be Able to complete the following:

• Communicating with plant issues to the Facility Supervisor.
• Working cooperatively with all site personnel.
• Operation and maintenance - including routine tasks, preventive tasks, fault diagnosis and repair
• Monitor and respond to plant issues including SCADA alarms and performance trends
• Monitor plants process and make necessary adjustments in conjunction with the Facility Supervisor.
• Ensure that operational performance targets of the water treatment plants are efficiently achieved to ensure high quality safe drinking

water production. * Willing to take action and learn

• Forklift Ticket highly (Desired)

What we are looking for:

• Experience with in the food manufacturing industry (Desired)

• Exposure to automation (Essential)
• Power Tool Experience (Required)
• Proven experience on both breakdown and preventative maintenance (Favored)
• Fault finding and problem solving skills and experience (Favored)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Commitment to quality and detail
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work within a cold environment (Beat the Heat this SUMMER)
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Able to undertake a functionality assessment
• OWN Car and Licence (NO LEARNERS)
• Must have FULL Australian Working rights (Required)
• Available Monday to Friday (Required)
• Available for immediate start
