Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any specials or promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring high quality and presentation standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any concerns or special requests.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of tables and dining areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations and dining areas.
- Handle guest payments accurately and efficiently, including processing credit card transactions and issuing receipts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and seamless dining experience for guests.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
- Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine pairings and cocktail recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
