We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be a part of our upcoming Asbestos Project in Bell Bay, Tasmania.

This project is commencing February 2024 and will span over a period of 8-12 months, and we are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Asbestos Removal Labourers and Asbestos Supervisors to join our team.

Position: Asbestos Removal Labourer Responsibilities:

• Execute safe and efficient asbestos removal procedures as per industry guidelines and regulations.

• Carry out physical tasks such as asbestos material handling, encapsulation, and disposal.

• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and decontamination procedures.

• Collaborate with the project team to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Valid certification in asbestos removal.

• Prior experience in asbestos removal.

• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Position: Asbestos Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage asbestos removal projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications.

• Supervise and train asbestos removal labourers, ensuring adherence to safe work practices.

• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies as necessary.

• Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress and completion.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an asbestos supervisor.

• Proven experience in supervising asbestos removal projects.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and industry best practices.

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
