Expression of Interest: Civil Construction Traineeship

Programmed are seeking expressions of Interest for Civil Construction Traineeships in Gold Coast. This traineeship provides an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the construction industry and looking to kick-start their career while working towards a Nationally Recognised Qualification.

The trainee will be involved in various aspects of Civil Construction projects, including training, maintenance, construction, and general servicing. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of Civil Construction equipment and machinery.
• Learn and apply the necessary skills construction techniques.
• Participate in the rehabilitation and repair of bridges, roads, and other infrastructure.
• Conduct calculations and measurements.
• Complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Mandatory Requirements

• OHS Construction White Card essential prior to commencement
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Flexible to work day shift and nightshift
• Strong commitment to complete Traineeship
• Must be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative
• General labouring experience an advantage
• Prior to an offer of employment, a pre-employment medical examination 'fit for work' (including passing a drug and alcohol screen) is required.
