The role:
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for experienced Coal Technologists to join our team at our Newcastle site. The successful candidate will manage coal quality analysis programs, provide specialist advice for exploration/production and export product evaluation, data validations, coordinate client communication and reporting, business development and support to the Business Unit Manager in developing existing team members.
What's needed?
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:

  • Must have experience as a Coal Technologist or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years coal industry experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, use in Microsoft suite and LIMS systems
  • Be customer focused
  • A valid NSW drivers license and own transport
Safety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
Must live locally in the Newcastle region. NO FIFO.
