AddressExpressions of interest (EOIs) are invited from professional General Practitioners to work in our communities for long-term periods.
When engaged healthcare professionals work in a community setting for longer periods, there is significant evidence of improved healthcare outcomes.
Long term GPs will work alongside committed remote area nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and other support staff to provide primary health care services to the people in the Katherine West region.
Our contracts can be negotiated in the range of two years, with some time spent in Katherine.
Renumeration packages include rent-free accommodation, 6 weeks annual leave, leave loading, generous salary sacrifice provisions, the use of a laptop, mobile phone and usage account, and the use of a vehicle where appropriate.
