The FM & Inspection Interface Engineer is responsible for Fabric Maintenance Execution work processes which covers, but is not limited to: Inspections of tanks, Vessels, Piping and Structure as well as Subsea, and coating, insulation and passive fire protection.
This is a permanent full time Perth based opportunity and adhoc offshore site travel will be required throughout the year.
Strategy
- Lead and manage FM and Inspection Coordinator scopes across both CPF and FPSO facilities.
- Develop and implement strategies for planning efficient site execution while aligning with existing business processes.
- Work with the Maintenance Management Team to develop the appropriate Contractor Strategy.
- Provide input and details around annual budget requirements.
- Bi-annual review and modify rostered resources composition to match workload profile
Scope Identification & Planning
- Monitor approved M1 Notifications in SAP for resourcing and PM01 creation.
- Monitor approved IC PM02 work orders generated from SAP.
- Work with Coordinators, Engineering and Client to define repair scope, priority and sequence.
- Monitor Inspection scopes for those with no clearly defined scope/IWI and drive Engineering to deliver in a timely manner.
- Manage, review and monitor FM and Inspection 120 day and 2 Year IAP plans.
- Prioritise work pack preparation and emergent work to ensure target dates are met.
Execution
- Assist and oversee the coordination of major scopes across disciplines as required, report on progress and implement lessons learnt.
- Monitor activities associated with third party contractors and services.
- Facilitate prioritisation of unplanned scope growth and operational technical queries.
Reporting & Optimisation
- Identify variances in original work scope and manage change.
- Monitor quality to ensure scopes meet QA requirements and manage improvements.
- Produce and present progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Identify work centre resource back log and work with coordinators to recover.
- Work with Quality, Contracts, Procurement, Warehousing, Finance and other teams as required to resolve issues and streamline execution.
- Monitor After Action Reviews and take necessary steps to implement continuous improvements.
- Review, identify gaps and coordinate the update maintenance procedures and practices.

What you will bring
- Tertiary qualification in engineering (Structural, Mechanical or related discipline), advantageous.
- Diploma in Project Management, advantageous
- Knowledge and experience working in an offshore maintenance environment.
- Inspection qualifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP system
- Proficiency in the use of key Microsoft products (Word & Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
- A willingness to travel to site as per business requirements
