- Relevant Certificate IV or at least 3 years' relevant work experience
Sheetmetal/Welder/Metal Fabricator Responsibilities and Tasks: Fabricate road transport tankers and other component.
Vehicle Painter Responsibilities and Tasks: Preparation work, sanding, painting and finishing chassis, axles and other components related to the manufacture of road transport tankers.
Mechanical Engineering Technician Responsibilities and Tasks: Assemble and install mechanical assemblies on road transport tankers. Modify assemblies and components in the hydraulic and pneumatic systems of the tanker. Conducts tests of mechanical systems, collects and analyses data, and assembles and installs mechanical assemblies in support of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists.
Auto Electrician/Electrical Engineering Technician Responsibilities and Tasks: Completing electrical wiring for the manufacture of road transport vehicles and their associated ancillary equipment. Fault finding and trouble shooting on new and used vehicles, at times off site.
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities and Tasks: Trailer A,B & C servicing and preventative maintenance on road transport tankers. Building and repairing mechanical components that are required on new and used tankers. Troubleshoot problems and advise on fixes that are in line with customer expectations. Ensuring reliability through quality workmanship.
General Labourer Responsibilities include maintaining the yard and yard storage in a clean and orderly state, moving parts and materials within the production line when/if required, assist with moving tankers and heavy vehicles, ensuring that the workplace is clean and safe, and that all quality assurance procedures are followed, load and unload trucks, general factory cleaning
Fitter (General) Responsibilities and Tasks: Fits and assembles metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment on the road transport manufacturing line.
These positions will involve a 38 hour week and overtime will be required at times.
