Facade Estimator

Solid reputation for commitment, quality and client satisfaction specialising across high rise residential and commercial projects.The Role:Due to an influx of tenders and demand they are seeking a highly motivated and articulate estimator. You will be reporting into a Estimating Manager working in a team of 4, you will be working across the full bid process on tenders up to the value of $40M, you will be highly detailed, have a strong understanding of construction methodology and carry high accurate measurement skills.Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales team, project managers and clients to understand project requirements and constrains.
• Preparation of accurate and detailed estimates based on project specifications.
• Identify project materials, labour requirements and other cost components.
• Development of full bid process inc; preparation of scope of work, price breakdowns and schedules.
• monitor and update cost estimates, value engineering capabilities and analyse cost performance.

About You:

• Proven 2 years + experience in construction/facade estimating.
• Coordination and compilation of bids and tenders
• Advanced Excel and Bluebeam knowledge highly desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in either windows, doors, glassing, curtain walls, cladding and/or facades essential.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Strong organisational, communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
