Job Description:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and fit individual to join our Production Team as a Factory Hand / Paint Maker. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks including paint blending, filling, labelling, packaging, stacking, and moving stock. Attention to detail and adherence to company operational standards, including OH&S policies, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blend, fill, label, package, stack, and move stock as per production requirements.
- Ensure accurate tinting of products with attention to detail.
- Submit completed jobs to the Production Office for entry into the ERP System.
- Adhere to company operational standards, including OH&S policies.
- Conduct weekly factory cleaning and workstation maintenance.
- Undertake other production duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
- Participate in various stocktakes throughout the year.
Requirements:
- A can-do attitude and willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Sound numeracy skills and the ability to make correct decisions.
- Paint making or tinting experience would be advantageous.
- Must possess a current forklift license.
