UOW’s Future Education unit has responsibility for developing and enhancing cross-institution platforms and systems to drive continuous improvement and maximise institutional benefits and alignment for projects across the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & Student Life) portfolio, working closely with a wide range of UOW stakeholders to scope out user requirements, design these into systems, and coordinate procurement, development and delivery. The unit also has responsibility for enabling future-facing design of UOW’s course portfolio, and providing operational support for and management of UOW’s existing course and subject portfolio.
The Faculty Partner is the liaison between the Future Education Course Portfolio team and their assigned Faculties across all aspects of course portfolio management and delivery. The role is critical for maintaining strong communication between the pooled services Course Portfolio team and Faculty team members, and for negotiating pooled service resources to support Faculty initiatives.
