• Provide intervention to support legal services provided by the specialist domestic and Family Violence unit
• Represent the specialist domestic and Family Violence unit in external forums
• Help provide information and training to LAQ staff and external community stakeholders to increase awareness and improve access to services

About you: The successful candidate will have

• Experience providing crisis counselling, short term assistance and advocacy for clients
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients with complex needs
• Ability to prepare written material such as reports, briefs, training and other educational materials
