Farm Labour

Kingdom Services is seeking farm hand labourers for an organic heirloom produce farm in Kemps Creek NSW.

Successful candidates will be offered a casual position on horticulture award rates and provided with a minimum average of 30 hours per week, weather permitting.

All workers need to be healthy and have good stamina as the job will require outside work and may involve the use of picking bags, working on feet, and climbing ladders. There are also some vacancies in the packing shed that involve packing boxes. Training will be provided for successful candidates.

Work will commence in July 2024 and workers will be expected to commit until November, with the opportunity to move to other farms in NSW and QLD to continue

The location of the farm is close to the local town and having your own transport is highly desirable. Accommodation is available onsite.

Qualifications & experience

• Drivers License; 
• Able to work as part of a small team 
• Able to work independently; 
• Willing to be hands on; 
• Reliable 
• Previous experience in organic heirloom farm a bonus but not essential; 
• Familiar with Farm Machinery; 
• Chemical accreditation and/or willingness to gain; 
• Forklift License bonus but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Operate Farm Machinery - including Tractors, Slashers, Orchards Sprayers; 
• Assist with general Farm work; 
• Perform duties outside of regular working hours seasonally as required.
