Fashion Pattern Maker - 3 Days a week

Who we are:

Techstyle Studio is a fashion & apparel agency, working with new and established labels from design, fitting & development to production. Established in 2021, we are a small but growing company with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Digital Pattern Maker who can work across a range of categories from Swimwear, Activewear, Resort & Fashion for Women, Men and Kids. We are looking for someone who can work independently but also as part of our small team.

This role may require you to visit client's offices for fittings around Sydney, however, based in Newtown.

Who you are:

• 5+ years of apparel pattern making and technical garment knowledge from a range of categories.
• Preferred Gerber, or other pattern-making program
• Google Sheets and Excel knowledge a must
• Open to new technologies and approaches
• Attention to detail
• Committed and reliable

Key tasks & responsibilities:

• Creating and altering patterns for local and offshore production
• Work with the team on meeting deadlines and following various clients' critical paths
• Maintain and create tech packs, BOMS, style trackers
• Manage grading and size specs
• Ensure patterns and Tech Packs are production-ready
• Communicate with factories and clients, where necessary
• Work with machinists (local and offshore) to perfect patterns for production
• Work closely with the team to deliver a high-quality product and service to our clients
• Meet with machinists, cutters & local factories when necessary
• Measuring samples
• Assist QC of samples and production
