This company specialises in creating impressive stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium fabrications for Defence and General Industrial applications. With ISO 3834 certification, they're experts at welding, not just "sparks and magic!"

Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role:
- Perform Flux Core (FCAW) across multiple processes – you're the conductor of a spark symphony!
- Work on welding procedures and inspections for all welds – meticulous welding detectives, we're looking at you!
- Utilise Ceramic Backing and meet DNV requirements.
- Work within a team environment
- Collaborate with the team on various shipbuilding tasks – united we weld, divided we... well, we don't divide – we weld!
- Meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards – because even the most awesome welds need to be on time!
Requirements for the Role:
To be our welding superhero, you'll need:
- Extensive experience as a Welder.
- Previous shipbuilding experience highly desirable.
- Ability to work with multiple welding processes – you're a welding chameleon, mastering any process that comes your way!
- Weld testing applicable for the role and acquiring DNV accreditation – it's like passing a welding boss battle; we believe in your skills!
- Can you confidently pass a 2G FCAW 12MM single fillet weld test on Carbon Steel?
- Self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to work within a team environment – you're a welding rockstar with a heart of steel!
- You will be expected to pass a full pre-employment medical including Audio, Spiro, Musculo-skeletal & D&A screen
- A valid National Police Clearance
