About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedMill Technician to join our team based at our Hope Valley site.
In this role, you will collaborate with the team to undertake all assigned mill operation activities in accordance with quality standards and ensure smooth business operations.
Main responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitor production and batching process through mill control systems
- Initiate Feedsafe declarations and test and report feed analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal customer-focused outcomes
- Actively support plant inspections and maintenance activities
- Provide progress updates to managers and promptly escalate issues
- Engage in hazard mitigation and hygiene management tasks
- Seek continuous improvements in mill processing operations
About you
As a successful candidate, you will have the following:
- Advanced Feed Milling qualification, Food Processing diploma (desirable)
- Recent experience in mill operation or production operation in manufacturing
- Hands on approach to troubleshooting minor machine issues
- Understanding of quality standards HACCP, GMP & Feedsafe
- Communicate and work effectively with other members as a team
- Keen to learn and willingness for self-improvement
- Knowledge of and commitment to health and safety work practices
- Valid WA driver's license
- Relevant licenses and tickets are highly regarded (e.g. forklift, working at heights, confined space)
