Ideally located in the prime grain and cattle producing region of the Darling Downs, 35km west of Toowoomba, the 26,500 head capacity feedlot has a strong reputation for producing high quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers, and employs approximately 50 team members.JBS also has its livestock transport operations based at Beef City Feedlot to facilitate cattle movements between all the feedlot and processing sites.
About the RoleDue to an internal promotion, the JBS Beef City Feedlot is currently recruiting a
Feedlot Clerk to join the Admin Team. Reporting to the Admin Supervisor, the Admin Clerk is an integral part of the Feedlot Admin Team.
Your key responsibilities will include:- Completing admin and compliance requirements for weighbridge operations including data entry for commodity receivals, movements and sales
- Processing automated fuel system
- Processing commodity invoices
- General office duties including ordering and maintaining stationary levels
- Reception and customer service duties
- Ad hoc administration tasks as required by the Admin Supervisor
About You- Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is essential
- Understanding of weighbridge compliance advantageous
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously we well as part of a team
