About the role
This is a full time opportunity located at Stanwell Power Station.
Stanwell’s Future Energy Innovation and Training Hub (FEITH) will provide facilities to test and develop new technologies that may then be scaled and commercialised. Stanwell will partner with various new technology developers and oversee the delivery of these projects into the FEITH facility.
The Project Delivery Lead will play a crucial role in assisting the FEITH Project Manager in realising the FEITH facility and necessary site enhancements for each project, while ensuring the success of Stanwell’s future energy projects.
The Project Delivery Lead will provide project management and engineering oversight of the FEITH facility and its associated projects. This will involve close collaboration with the technology developer and future energy origination team, and driving the integration of the project into FEITH and Stanwell Power Station.
Key activities include:
- Demonstrating safety leadership through a strong personal safety attitude and the application of systems and processes.
- Leading the development and implementation of processes and systems to monitor and manage the project’s implementation activities to ensure that the facility is constructed in accordance with the contract and various specifications.
- Developing effective relationships across the corporation and influencing engineering decisions and standards by technical credibility and knowledge without direct line control.
About you
- Heavy industry experience with demonstrated Project Delivery experience in a project execution environment.
- Experience in managing third party contractors and consultants.
- In depth understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and the ability to engage with all levels of a project team to drive a culture of safety and performance.
- Tertiary qualification in an engineering/equivalent discipline or trade qualification.
- Driver’s License and White Card.
