Interventional Gastroenterology at Sunshine Coast University Hospital offers a full range of Interventional Endoscopy service which includes endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) including cholangioscopy (Spyglass), enteroscopy, luminal stenting, endoscopic mucosal resection, Barrett’s endoscopic resection and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).
The incumbent in this position will have the opportunity to present and participate in X-ray and Oncology Multidisciplinary Meetings and enjoy a strong working relationship with our Surgical colleagues. The role would suit a 3rd year advanced trainee in Gastroenterology or a 1st year post-nominal FRACP fellow who is interested to commence their subspecialty training in Interventional Endoscopy.

About the role
- Provision of Gastroenterology services to patients in accordance with the standards of the discipline and the ethics of the profession.
- Provision of Gastroenterology Services for patients that are consistent with the Clinical Services Capability Framework of the relevant facilities with the Health Service.
- Provide safe and high-quality care to patients in accordance with the ethics and standards of the medical profession.
Role requirements
- Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current annual licence.
- Participation in the gastroenterology registrar/fellow on call roster.

Generous remuneration package, comprising base salary range: $129,583 - $182,106 p.a., (+ applicable allowances/benefits) employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4- L13) (Fixed Term Temporary Full-time up to 12 months, 76 hrs p/f) Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy.
