Job description

Calling all skilled and experienced Fibreglass Technician’s to join our teams in either Picton (NSW) or Stapylton (QLD) to manufacture, detail and repair our hand-crafted fibreglass pool shells.

As a highly skilled and experienced Fibreglass Technician you will have the ability to work independently at each stage of the pool manufacture process. This will include preparation, spraying gelcoat, laminate consolidation, spraying laminate inspect and detail the pool shells. You will also have the skills and experience to undertake fiberglass shell repairs and maintenance.

In this role you will :

· Buff and prepare the mould to a high gloss finish and apply a coat of wax to prevent the pool sticking to the mould

· Use a specialised gelcoat gun, to spray the surface layer of the pool creating a consistent coloured finish

· Use a chopper gun to spray the resin and glass to a consistent thickness, across a variety of different layers

· Use a roller to consolidate the fibreglass and resin layers, removing air bubbles

· Visually inspect and feel every accessible surface of the shell and identify any defects

· Repair any defects on the interior of the shell as confirmed by the Team Leader

About you

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, detailing, repairs and or maintenance of fibreglass products

· Experience working in manufacturing

· Experience using hand and power tools

· Ability to stand, lift and do repetitive tasks such as using a laminator roller, chopper gun, sander and buffer for the duration of the shift
