AddressA well-known and reputable organization is looking for a Field Applications Scientist to join their team in Sydney, NSW. They have a well-established portfolio of products in the Environmental and Water Technologies markets and are progressive in their approach.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Provide technical support to an environmental and water product expert, you will educate clients on a range of product lines and services.
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical and product support, including new product information.
- Identify sales opportunities and collaborate with the wider commercial team to drive success and growth.
- Proactively manage and resolve customer technical issues and provide accurate information in the CRM.
- Educate clients on product availability, trends, and technologies, maximize system performance, and minimize downtime.
- Interpret clients' needs and take responsibility for problem resolution, liaising with them on administrative and technical matters.
- Meet with clients face to face and attend conferences locally and nationally.
- Ideally have relevant Science qualifications, preferably environmental science.
- Previous experience in a related Field Applications role with capacity to travel at 25%
- Good understanding of the Water and Environmental market across ANZ.
- The ability to effectively communicate complex technical failures and methods of resolution to business partners and customers is required.
- Ability to work independently, manage time/priorities, and maintain composure under high levels of demand is necessary.
- Creativity, high level of motivation, ethical approach in achieving business goals.
- High level of energy, engagement and responsibility.
