Summary
Service Stream has an exciting opportunity for a Field Manager to join our team based in Parramatta!
About the Role
The Field Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of ALL active on-site works. This includes managing, planning, organising, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on all site construction activities to ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality objectives are maintained to the highest level and all required deliverables are met.
Responsibilities
- Comply with relevant Service Stream Occupational Health, Safety and Environment procedures
- Adhere to the Service Stream Code of Conduct, vision, policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership to ensure the highest standard of safety and quality is always maintained
- Ensure all Service Stream's safety processes and procedures are adhered to on site.
- Actively participate in all site safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance of the field staff & contractors' safety by participating in regular audits and reviews of the system
- Review and sign off all relevant permits prior to activity being performed.
- Ensure all work is completed to required specifications, standards and engineering bulletins within required time frames
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with Project stakeholders by promoting open and transparent communication to maintain an understanding of their requirements and drivers
- Coordinate with the Project Engineer, all activities across the project, including scheduling/programming of works
- Have a comprehensive understanding of site/s status and planned site activities
- Monitor and report site progress and identify any potential or actual delays or dispute events to the Project Engineer
- Ensure all phases of handover documentation are completed to milestone dates
- Conduct site design visits and contribute recommendations to Design team for new site selections or any constructability issues
- Ensure all KPIs and contract performance requirements are met
- Interact with others in a collaborative and constructive manner
Competencies required
- Experience in Wireless and/or an Infrastructure Services environment is ideal
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and asset management systems is an advantage
- Strong leadership skills
- Understanding of contract administration
- Good communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously and within teams.
- Ability to travel to remote locations/LAFH for extended periods
- Willing and able to be work outside of normal working hours when required
