About the Role
- Proactively establishing and maintaining key customer relationships, and facilitating relationships at appropriate levels within the customer organisations and MT.
- Visit MMU's in field on an agreed routine basis to conduct inspections and stay abreast of practical operational issues and opportunities.
- Strategically identifying after-sales opportunities that align with the resourcing, materials, and organisational capabilities. This will also require continued engagement with functions across MT to ensure relevance and serviceability, including Equipment Engineering.
- Provide data and operational information to MMU product Manager and develop long term service contracts for the MMU fleet and propose to customers to secure service work.
- Orchestrating and enabling work winning through sharing of customer needs and market insights with relevant regional and global BD teams.
- Exemplifying a high-sales performance culture by aligning approach and decisions with customer MMU performance expectations of high reliability and mining through put.
- Cost up the provision of service, repairs, parts and overhauls and in conjunction with the MMU Product Manager provide commercial proposals to the customer with the purpose of securing service work.
- Secure spares orders, component service exchange orders, MMU surveillance and condition monitoring contracts and overhauls.
About You
- Trade or Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Process Engineering
- Experience in and exposure to after-sales business in mineral processing sector.
- Demonstrated experience in operations and maintenance of heavy equipment at mine sites.
- Ability to proactively lead and deliver after-sales services and work winning initiatives in in collaboration with MT MMU team
