How you will shine:

We are hiring Field Service Technician to provide a high-quality service exceeding customers’ expectations, both onshore and offshore, while involved with the hands-on installation, repair or troubleshooting of Surface Wellhead Systems, Production Systems and Pressure Control Systems. 

If you have no experience as a offshore Technician, but you have had exposure to mechanical, electronic and or hydraulics related positions, we would still love to hear from you.

Your key responsibilities:

• Work independently to install new products, retrofits and conducts repairs of company equipment
• Provide project start-up expertise, including oversight during first installations.
• Assure all equipment, service tooling and spare parts are on location and ready to use and function fit prior to beginning each job.
• Records critical dimensions to ensure assembly will work and obtains or creates product running procedures.
• Provide “Project Support” as required for all new projects, which includes attending, design review for equipment and tools, reviewing installation procedures, assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests and reviewing project training requirements for service personnel.
• Maintain communication with Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, function fit and critical dimension measurements.
• Provide sales support through quality customer interface and keeps customers fully informed of all aspects of the job. Handles customer complaints in a professional manner.
• Completes Field Non-Conformance Reports (FNCR) forms as product problems are encountered. Assures all equipment and procedural defects are communicated back to company Service Management.
• Prepare and submit Field Service Orders and other region required reports after each job is complete. Complete a Tally book or other form to communicate procedures, spare parts, critical dimensions and customer questions and complaints.
• Understands and follows all company and customer safety requirements.
• Proactively pursues safe work practices, recommends safe work practices/procedures and participates in safety meetings and safety training.
• Be prepared to travel locally and internationally to other regions as required
• Drive self-development to become knowledgeable of all products & services.
• Attend Customer meeting and trainings for an understanding in customers drilling operations/program
• Ensure to have proper Pre and Post Job discussions with Service Coordinator
• Ability to troubleshoot field issues
• Able to work under minimum supervision and in a demanding working environment

The skills you will bring:

• Engineering degree or a relevant trade certificate preferred
• Exposure to mechanical, electronic and or hydraulics related experience
• Familiar with mechanical aptitude and or hydraulics related equipment (desirable)
• Familiar with the execution of work duties in accordance with formal procedures and ability to read and understand the procedures and drawings
• Dedication and an eagerness to learn
