AddressWe are seeking a Field Service Technician - Heavy Equipment with experience working on Heavy Equipment, mobile plant, access equipment or similar to join our team in Melbourne (Truganina/Western Area).
Adaptalift looks after the customer and company owned equipment and provide breakdown services, fault finding and preventive and routine maintenance services on the equipment.
We offer $46-49 per hour, depending on your experience, overtime rates & on-call allowances, ongoing technical training, afully stocked, current model van, a centralised support centre and a supportive supervisor who will guide and mentor you.
What will you be doing?
- Fault finding, troubleshooting & problem-solving breakdowns.
- Undertaking scheduled maintenance and servicing.
- Utilising your technical skills to problem solve.
- Visiting our customers on their sites, providing a high-quality & safe service.
- Collaborating with your team on large overhauls and commissions.
About You:
- Solid experience working as a Mechanic or Fitter within the Heavy Equipment industry (Transport, Bus, Construction, Farming or Automotive).
- Solid background in servicing, diagnostics and hydraulics.
- Ability to carry out a physical role with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- A strong commitment to safe work practices and good communication skills.
- Hold a current Car Licence
- Mechanical Trade as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar.
- Full working right in Australia
Benefits:
- A sign-on bonus of $5,000 (payable at 6-months of service)
- Up to $49/h + super (base rate + overtime rates)
- Working hours Monday – Friday 7am- 3pm with opportunity for overtime (EBA rates).
