We have recently expanded and are looking for a proactive, experienced Field Service Technician and experienced Workshop Diesel Fitters to join our team. We consistently strive to deliver prompt, reliable, high quality services that puts safety first.
Duties for both roles include, but are not limited to:
- Workshop scheduled servicing, major breakdowns and midlife's on the following machines. 789C, 830E, D10T and D11T.
- Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor for external services when required
- Prioritisation and organisation of parts, scheduling and carrying out of routine maintenance.
- Assist with all workshop job orders & activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
The successful applicants will have:
- Demonstrated experience in breakdowns and service/workshop environments
- Knowledge of CAT & Komatsu machines
- Trade qualifications as a Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanic and/or Fitter
- A high level of mechanical servicing and fault diagnostic skills
- Drivers licence
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- A self-starting, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a high level of organisational skills
