The Darwin Observing Operations Hub is one of the Bureau of Meteorology's premier technical Operations centre.
Staff based at the Darwin Observing Operations Hub travel far and wide and into remote areas, utilising 4WD's, planes, boats and helicopters to maintain service delivery within the various instrumentation networks.
Darwin Observing Operations Hub's immediate area of responsibility encompasses the northern NT above Alice Springs as well as northern WA extending west to Broome.
We are part of a national maintenance workforce and there is every likelihood of travel to other parts of Australia on occasion to support the other seven Hubs around the country.
