Programmed Skilled Workforce are looking for a casual Field Technician to work with our client in Mount Gambier.
Our client is a successful, modern water utility that is wholly owned by the Government of South Australia. We employ more than 1,400 South Australians across a broad range of disciplines who operate over $14 billion of assets. We deliver essential water and sewerage services to more than 1.7 million South Australians.
This role is responsible for undertaking field-based preventative and corrective maintenance, along with responding to emergencies and reported faults in an efficient and professional manner. The role is based in Mount Gambier.
Responsible for:
- Preventative and emergency maintenance
- Fault finding and resolution
- Undertaking assessments, repair services
- Installation of extensions and new connections
- Repairing water pipes
- Efficient and effective customer delivery.
To succeed in this opportunity you will need
- A strong, proven work ethic
- Plumbing license preferred would be highly regarded but not essential
- Enjoy talking with customers and delivering outcomes
- Proven safety awareness, putting safety above all else
- Work Zone Traffic Management Certificate (desirable)
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to participate in a medical and drug and alcohol screen
- A current police clearance
