The role:
Cater Care Services seeks to appoint a Full Time Bus Driver/ Utility at our mining village in remote South Australia.
This role is available on an 14 days on 7 days off roster, fly in fly out from Adelaide.
The successful candidate must hold a current MR licence and able to undertake both Bus Driving and Utility duties as required.
This role involves working a split shift, across 10 hour days.
What this role involves:
- Bus Driving - driving residents to/from the village, mine site and airport
- Ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness at all times
- Laundry duties, Crib and Town runs
- Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping and general cleaning
- Providing exceptional customer care
- Assisting the Village team as required
What we require from you:
- Must hold a valid MR licence and have previous bus driving experience
- A National Police Clearance within 6 months, or willing to obtain
- Ability to work well with other team members
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Adherence to first-class safety practices
- Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
