We are looking for qualified and experienced Bus Drivers to operate one of our private school buses for before- and after-school runs. Casual or Part-Time positions available.
The Bus Driver is a key role in the lives of our students, as they not only provide a valuable service, but each day are the first and last staff member who interacts with our students.

Located 5 km North of the Adelaide CBD, the school has an enrolment of approximately 230 and provides a family atmosphere where students have close and supportive contact with their teachers and peers. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum South Australian MR class drivers licence (Required)
- Current first-aid certificate (Required / Able to obtain)
- The ability to exercise initiative, responsibility, discretion and judgement in
transporting school-age children (Highly desirable) - The capacity to perform the physical requirements of driving and maintaining the vehicle
- Current Working with Children Check (Required / Able to obtain)
- The right to work in Australia (Required)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Ensuring the safety of passengers while they are entering and exiting the bus and during transit;
- Observing the requirements of the Road Traffic Act including speed limits and demonstrating courtesy to other road users;
- Using discretion in emergency situations and never leaving children unsupervised;
- Checking and monitoring of the vehicle prior to departure, during use, and upon return;
- Refuelling the vehicle as necessary; and
- Adhering to school policies as they relate to this role.
REMUNERATION
Experienced Fixed part-time rate: $33.53 per hour
Experienced Casual Rate: $36.45 per hour
Experienced Bus Driver Level 1.3 + 17%
