FIFO Site WHS Advisor

Project location: Prominent Hill Mine Site
Project Details: Construction Project
Start Date: May 2024 start date
Paid Flights : Ex Adelaide Airport only
Duration : 4 to 5 months
FIFO Roster : 2 weeks on 2 weeks off (12 hour days)
Pay : Competitive hourly pay rate. Client paid flights (ex Adelaide Airport only) and camp accommodation
Essential : Minimum Cert IV WHS, WHITE CARD andRecent police check (within 3 months) or to have a police check completed and received back before May start date

Skills and experience required:

• Support operations to ensure robust zero harm processes are implemented and followed by site and project personnel and subcontractors
• Prepare and conduct safety inductions, tool box talks
• Organise and prepare safety documentation
• Conduct safety inspections, investigations and audits
• Perform WHS reporting duties
• Liaise with client and contractor company on a daily basis including attending meetings as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a FIFO mining, resources or commercial construction sector
• Minimum requirement of Cert IV WHS
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and WHS systems/platforms
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment

Essential:

Flexibility to start in May 2024 and commit for the full duration of 4 to 5 months
