TCML Electrical Contractors is a dynamic company that supplies skilled labour to the electrical sectors, specifically targeting Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors. We offer services that include Cert III rail traction linesmen, distribution linesman, riggers and skilled operators.
Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Rail Traction Linesmen FIFO to Perth, Western Australia. Daily tasks will include, installing structures, installing cantilevers, running of wire & registration of 25kv overhead system, within the PTA network on Metronet projects.
Qualifications
- Cert III in Traction Linesmen or Cert III Distribution Linesmen
- PTA SW - (safe working)
- High Risk Licence (DG,WP, LF,RB)
- OH&S White Card
- Current Working at heights (within two years)
- Hi-rail/RRV
- Current VOC's for all high-risk tickets
- Able to pass a cat1 medical
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights
- Previous experience working as a Traction linesman or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to safety standards and policies
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
