We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tyre Fitter to join the Mobile Maintenance team at our Woodie Manganese Operation, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required:
- Fit out and removal of tyres for company mining fleet which consists of predominantly Cat & Komatsu Graders (16M), Dozers (854K), Loaders (980H, 988H,K & 992K) Dump Trucks (3900D, 777F/G & 785 C/D), Water Carts (777F) and Skid Steer (242DAC and IT’s;
- Removal and replacement of variety of smaller tyres ie. Trucks, Busses, LV’s and Cranes;
- Remove and replace tyres, diagnose tyre damage and wear, complete tyre and rim inspections and complete scheduled pressure and tread depth checks;
- Record tyre management data for monitoring and tracking of stock;
- Utilisation of Job Planning Sheets (JPS) to ensure compliance with CMA systems and processes;
- Perform all work activities with the highest regard to industry safety standard;
- Perform daily inspections of work areas and good housekeeping;
- Work independently as well as part of the Mobile Maintenance Team.
Requirements to be successful in this role are:
- Certification II in Heavy Tyre Fitting;
- Previous mine site experience working with Heavy earthmoving equipment;
- Demonstrated Tyre Management skills;
- Extensive product knowledge of CAT & Komatsu equipment;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff on all levels;
- Current HR drivers licence;
- High Risk Work Forklift licence (LF);
- Intermediate level of computer literacy, particularly Tredstat/Entire and MS office suite;
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
