The projects

Based at a major project in SA the contracts involve tailings reinforcement projects along with bulk earthworks projects. The projects offer:

• FIFO from major capital cities
• Comfortable camp accommodation and meals
• 2:1 roster - Wednesday to Tuesday roster
• 12-hours, DAYS ONLY
• Long term employment

The duties

As an experienced civil operator, you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of operators and trades.

You'll also be responsible for:

• Operating excavators (30T-120T)
• Performing bulk excavation and trenching
• Experience with GPS Systems (Topcon, Trimble ect.)
• Ability to interpret detailed plans.
• Experienced on civil projects performing Final Trim to tolerances as required.

Your value

You must come from a background with extensive excavator operating experience and have experience / qualifications with:

• Hold a current driver's licence(essential)
• Hold a nationally accredited plant ticket(desired, not essential)
• 2+ years' experience operating excavators on civil / mining projects.
• Ability and willingness to be utilised on other plant as required
• Proven commitment to health and safety
• Personal drive and results oriented.
