About the Opportunity
As the Finance Analyst duties will include undertaking financial analysis, planning and forecasting, cost control, project related financial reporting and day to day finance operations support.
Additional responsibilities are to assist the Manager Finance & Governance to deliver revised models and processes, strategic submissions, expenditure forecasts, budgets, and reports. Providing support for any areas relating to finance/frontline operations is also essential to the role. CBS is a fast-paced customer facing public sector agency that delivers on a diverse range of regulatory functions. Operational budgets vary and new projects are taken on frequently to deliver the Government’s priorities.
The successful candidate will have a high capacity for work and be able to deliver on required budget submissions and cost proposals in a high pressure and reactive environment. This role is advertised as a part-time position at 0.6 FTE; however, the business is open to part time applicants available to work either 0.5 or up to 0.8 FTE.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C)
Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce or related field.
