About The Role
Undertake a range of Finance functions, primarily focussed on accounts receivable duties, including processing of all invoices and receipts from customers, ensuring the efficient administration of the accounts receivable function in accordance with regulations, policy and procedures and providing advice on accounts receivable issues to management and staff. This position also provides assistance with travel bookings for staff, acts as a backup for other key finance duties (Accounts Payable and Payroll) and other administration tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Carry out all Accounts Receivable billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or customer queries.
- Liaise with TasRail customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage customer log loading/shiploading spreadsheets.
- Maintain the Fuel Surcharge records.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly revenue, aged debtors and other relevant management reporting and analysis for the CFO and other managers as required.
- Accounts payable back up support including leave coverage, if and when required.
- Responsible for travel management for intra and interstate employee travel.
- Ownership of the credit card and expense reimbursement processes.
