The Role
The Finance Manager – Transformation leading a team of System Administrator, Systems Accountant and Business Analyst, plays a leading role in delivering process maturity and innovation across initiatives with finance touch points and provides support and administration for the company’s ERP and financial systems.
A crucial leadership role supporting the GM-Finance & CFO, the Finance Manager – Transformation leads decisions on requirements and design delivering integrity, efficiency and value-add outcomes for system implementations and process improvement initiatives.
The role requires a high level of stakeholder engagement, motivating and developing a high performing team of finance professionals and leading the maturity and growth of the function’s role within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Company’s Finance initiative roadmap.
- Lead Finance team engagement on new ERP implementation from business requirements to implementation planning through to testing and Go-live.
- Provide system administration support for user access and data maintenance.
- Provide business analysis support drafting workflows and business requirement documentation.
- Provide first line functional user support for finance systems.
- Liaise with internal and external service providers to resolve BAU issues and deliver on system implementations.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the organization to ensure both upstream and downstream processes are supported and maintain the financial integrity of Company systems.
- Provide project management and facilitation support on key Finance initiatives both system and business related e.g. acquisitions, reporting, internal audits etc.
- Direct support to the GM – Finance & CFO with adhoc duties as required.
- Broad knowledge of foundational accounting & finance standards and processes.
- Proven ability to work in and optimize data, systems and processes to promote integrity and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting
- Proven ability to develop a deep understanding of operations and the workflow and touch points with which to align to deliver accounting outcomes
- Proven ability to manage and motivate staff
- Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset with the ability to act as an agent of change for the organisation
- Exceptional verbal and written communication complimented by interpersonal skills that adapt to target audience horizontally and vertically across the organisation.
- Advanced Excel; Power BI; AX Dynamics is an advantage.
Ideally you will be:
Degree qualified – Accounting / Finance with Professional certification – CPA / CA along with 10 years’ experience along with Project Management qualifications.
