Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will work collaboratively with the Board and Executive Team to shape operational plans across a broad range of financial, strategic and commercial matters supporting achievement of the organisation’s strategy. Having recently confirmed the delivery of $1.8 billion of capital investment over the next five years the organisation is poised to grow, and the Chief Financial Officer will contribute to creating a contemporary business.
You will play a critical role in developing and implementing business strategies, developing the water and sewerage price path and maximising the organisation’s financial capability through effective cash flow and debt management strategies. You will also oversee technology innovation and investment decisions to support business requirements across the organisation.
Coupled with high emotional intelligence, your superior communication and influencing skills will allow you to address complex issues, including a diverse range of stakeholders, supporting value creation, fostering innovation and building the necessary capabilities to drive operational excellence in conjunction with the wider Executive Leadership Team.
A seasoned executive, it is envisaged that you will have broad financial experience along with proven leadership ability and behaviours that role model and promotes collaboration, respect, trust and commitment. Your ability to operate on a high-level commercial basis, with particular emphasis on innovation, sustainability, risk management, regulatory schemes, financial management and governance will be supported by your strategic thinking.
Professionally qualified, to include CA or CPA, your experience will have been gained through complex organisations with a heavy asset base. The position can be based at North Lakes or Maroochydore with some expectation of travel between the two.
