With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:An exciting opportunity exists for a Finance Systems professional to join the team at Northern Health.The Finance Systems Administrator is responsible for providing effective financial systems support and advice to the Director of Business Support, the Financial accounting team, Procurement divisions on Finance Systems and control. This position reports to the Director Decision SupportThe role is responsible more specifically for:
- Working with the Director of Revenue Services to implement process improvements across the Finance directorate, including project activities.
- Work with the Director of Business Support to maintain Northern Health (NH) Budgeting system (Adaptive), and provide systems integration & support.
- Work with the Director of Procurement and Supply to maintain NH FMIS/Oracle application.
- Update delegations, user accounts, training and testing of Oracle and Adaptive.
- Provide ad-hoc project support as directed by the Director Revenue Services and the CFO.
- A competent understanding of finance system controls and risk.
- Extensive experience with the Oracle financial package and Oracle reporting tools to extract financial data.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, IT, Business or Accounting
- intermediate level SQL, SSMS and relational database knowledge
- advanced level Microsoft Excel and VBA knowledge
- Experience in SSAS, SSIS, PowerBI, not essential but desirable
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
