Xavier College now invites applications from experienced professionals to join our College’s Finance department as Financial Accountant, working across the Gawler Belt, Two Wells and Evanston campuses. This position is a permanent, full-time role, working Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm.
As Financial Accountant you will be a part of an integral team within the College, working collaboratively with all members of the Finance team to provide support and specialist advice to key functional areas including accounts payable and receivable, payroll support and processing, financial planning and reporting, auditing and compliance services.

The successful candidate will:
- be genuinely passionate about providing outstanding financial services and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider College community
- have previous financial accounting experience in a similar role (essential requirement)
- be confident in navigating and using the College’s financial and payroll systems
- have demonstrated experience in planning, developing, implementing, and reviewing financial budgets
- apply high level specialised knowledge of financial and taxation legislation and regulation relevant to business and payroll management
- work in a positive and collaborative capacity across all campuses of the College and exercise high integrity, confidentiality, and trust at all times
