Our client is a reputable services business with an established network of clients across Western Australia. You will be joining a small, friendly/supportive finance team that values teamwork and collaboration, with full support from a hands-on Finance Manager.
The Role
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts
- Reconciliation of general ledger, bank accounts, debtors, creditors and other balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and submit PAYG, FBT Returns, Payroll Tax and BAS
- Cash flow monitoring and weekly reporting
- Detailed monthly analysis and reporting of departmental costs
- Support senior managers with relevant and up-to-date financial information
- Review AR/AR ageing reports and contact customers regarding outstanding payments
- Preparation of the companies fixed asset register
- Assist and support the payroll and accounts payable officer
- Liaising with external auditors
- Corporate insurance maintenance and renewals
- Ad-hoc reports and tasks as required by the Finance Manager
Requirements
- Ideally, you will be working towards attaining your CA/CPA
- Confident communicator with highly developed written and verbal skills
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a high-performing team
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines
