The Company

Our client is a reputable services business with an established network of clients across Western Australia. You will be joining a small, friendly/supportive finance team that values teamwork and collaboration, with full support from a hands-on Finance Manager.

The Role

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Reconciliation of general ledger, bank accounts, debtors, creditors and other balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare and submit PAYG, FBT Returns, Payroll Tax and BAS
  • Cash flow monitoring and weekly reporting
  • Detailed monthly analysis and reporting of departmental costs
  • Support senior managers with relevant and up-to-date financial information
  • Review AR/AR ageing reports and contact customers regarding outstanding payments
  • Preparation of the companies fixed asset register
  • Assist and support the payroll and accounts payable officer
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Corporate insurance maintenance and renewals 
  • Ad-hoc reports and tasks as required by the Finance Manager

Requirements

  • Ideally, you will be working towards attaining your CA/CPA
  • Confident communicator with highly developed written and verbal skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a high-performing team
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail 
  • Capable of multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines
  • Immediately available
