What you’ll do
This position is responsible for assisting in all aspects of Financial Accounting for the Corporate division. You’ll be joining a supportive and encouraging team, with career growth and support on offer if that’s something you desire.
Some of the key duties of the role will be:
Completing monthly financial accounting and reporting processes as required including month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review procedures
Deliver accurate and timely accounting information to internal and external customers/stakeholders
Participate in the half-year and year-end reporting cycles including audit queries and assistance with preparation of financial statements
Maintain adequate internal controls to ensure the integrity of the General Ledger and associated processes
Assist Senior Financial Accountant with mentoring team members
What you’ll bring
A degree in Commerce or similar
CPA or CA qualified or almost qualified
Big 4 Accounting firm experience (desirable)
Experience in a similar role
Experience using a Large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
