A permanent full time opportunity exists to join our Financial Systems Support Team as a Financial Systems SupportSAP Supply Specialist. This position is based in our Melbourne Head Office in St Kilda, with hybrid working arrangements.

The Opportunity  

The Financial SystemsSAP Supply Support Specialist is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing SAP Supply functions within the organization's Financial Systems environment. This role involves providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and enhancing the SAP Supply functionalities to meet the evolving business needs.

The Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration, effective utilization, and continuous improvement of SAP Supply modules.

Key Accountabilities

  • Configure and customize SAP MM, SD and WM modules to align with business requirements and optimize system functionality.
  • Conduct testing, training, and post-implementation support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing system issues, inquiries, and enhancement requests.
  • Troubleshoot issues, analyse root causes, and implement timely resolutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Lead or contribute to the implementation of SAP projects, including upgrades, rollouts, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate SAP modules with other business systems.
  • Configure and maintain interfaces between SAP and external applications to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Maintain and support inhouse scanning solution developed with SOTI software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancement, propose solutions, and implement changes through proper testing and validation processes.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and user guides to educate stakeholders on SAP Supply functionalities, best practices, and system updates.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.

About You

We are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP Analyst with expertise in the Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Warehouse Management (WM) modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP system administration, configuration, and support, coupled with a deep understanding of business processes in procurement, sales, and warehousing.   

Key Skills and Experience

  • In-depth understanding of SAP Supply functionalities, integration points, and best practices in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM, SD, and WM modules, with a focus on system administration, configuration, and support.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in procurement, sales, and warehousing, with the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Proven track record in analysing and troubleshooting technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in customization, enhancement, and integration of SAP ECC6 modules, including SAP Materials Management, Purchasing, Sales & Distribution, and Warehouse Management to meet business needs.
  • Understanding of EDI concepts and ability to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors, and clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and facilitate user training sessions.
  • Experience in change management, system documentation, and compliance with regulatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SOTI scanning solution.
  • Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and it’s integration with MM Purchasing.
