Finops Cost Modeller

Our Federal Government client is currently seeking to engage a qualified and experience FinOps Cost Modeller to provide advice and guidance on financial sustainability by applying cost modelling, cost variations, improving resource allocation and providing service / product costing to support the business in optimising cloud utlisation.This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this 24 month contract with an additional 12 months of extensions offered.Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance will be considered for this role.The experience and skills for this role are:

• 3-5 years experience with cost and/or financial modelling in an Australian Federal Government or private sector engagement
• Demonstrated modelling for pricing evaluation for a major ICT or asset project/program.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud financial operations and optimization, cost-allocations and internal charge back / show back.
• Commercial acumen
• Strong knowledge, experience and understanding of cost governance models.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry recognized certification.
• Experience with cloud governance practices, especially in an Australian Government context.
