We hold a Gold Level Membership and FPAS accreditation with the Fire Protection Association of Australia.The roleAs the Fire Panel Technician / Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Minor/small Fire Detection, EWIS & occupant Warning System installs.
- Fault finding and trouble shooting.
- Panel repairs/upgrades.
- Programming a variety of different fire detection systems including EWIS and Vesda.
- Assisting with Testing & Maintenance in accordance with AS1851 where required.
- Providing written site reports using electronic devices.
- Demonstrate sound understanding of relevant Australian standards and BCA codes.
- Working within a team environment.
- Proven programming experience.
- Proven experience with fire detection systems.
- Electrical licences (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of Australian standards and BCA codes.
- Experience reporting via electronic devices.
- Experience with using Uptick and FireMate software (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of wiring rules.
