We hold a Gold Level Membership and FPAS accreditation with the Fire Protection Association of Australia.The roleAs the Fire Panel Technician / Electrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Minor/small Fire Detection, EWIS & occupant Warning System installs.
  • Fault finding and trouble shooting.
  • Panel repairs/upgrades.
  • Programming a variety of different fire detection systems including EWIS and Vesda.
  • Assisting with Testing & Maintenance in accordance with AS1851 where required.
  • Providing written site reports using electronic devices.
  • Demonstrate sound understanding of relevant Australian standards and BCA codes.
  • Working within a team environment.

  • Proven programming experience.
  • Proven experience with fire detection systems.
  • Electrical licences (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of Australian standards and BCA codes.
  • Experience reporting via electronic devices.
  • Experience with using Uptick and FireMate software (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of wiring rules.
