Form of workDue to expansion in our Kalgoorlie operation, we are seeking a Fire Suppression Technician/Fire Equipment Technician to join our Kalgoorlie Team.

e Fire and Safety is one of Western Australia's leading family-owned fire protection companies. We provide specialist fire protection applications, products, services and installation across various sectors.
Our front-line fire Equipment Technicians install and service portable fire equipment (such as fire extinguishers, fire hoses, fire blankets etc.) as well as vehicle suppression servicing and installs. This role gives the option to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection in the future.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A strong focus on safety
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- Have a mechanical trade background
- Fire Suppression experience in servicing and installations
- 2+ years’ experience within the Fire Industry
- Applied knowledge of the latest Australian Standards AS5062
- Strong focus on quality and client satisfaction
- Good personal presentation
- Adhere to workplace Health and Safety Standards
- Be an all-rounder and have a flexible “can-do” attitude
- Excellent attendance record
- Be willing to travel regionally, with overnight stays when needed
- On-going drug and alcohol testing
Mandatory requirements:
- A current manual drivers license (c class)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- National Police Clearance
