Academic Transformation Portfolio
Are you a current First Nations UniSQ student or recent graduate looking to expand your skills and kick start your career in higher education? Your UniSQ experience starts here at either our Toowoomba or Springfield campus. Through our Graduate Employment Program, we’ll help you in your transition from education to employment - equipping you with the skills, knowledge and networks so you can amplify your career.
The Academic Transformation Portfolio Graduate Employment Program provides the opportunity for UniSQ graduates to transition from education to employment. The Associate Evaluation Officer (Graduate Program) position will connect you to experienced professionals who will help you apply your skills and knowledge as you start your career. As part of this program, you will be exposed to many facets of activities within the Academic Transformation Portfolio and build on your capability and core knowledge as a member of this team.
The position offers the opportunity to work as part of a team across a diverse mix of activities to support students and academic staff within the Academic Transformation Portfolio and University more broadly. Graduates will be positioned across a range of teams such as the Data Analytics, Academic Integrity and Evaluation Teams and be provided specific learning and development opportunities. The position requires a high level of administration, communication, and consultation, using established processes and liaising with staff within the respective work area.
Additionally, the First Nations Associate Evaluation Officer (Graduate Program) will provide the opportunity for you to:
  • Be part of a diverse team supporting students, academic staff, and the University.
  • Develop your research, evaluation, data analysis and writing capabilities.
  • Improve your understanding of the Higher Education Sector.
  • Be supported with coaching / mentoring from highly skilled professionals.
  • Undertake a range of formal and informal learning and professional development opportunities.

This is an Identified position and is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander current students or students who have completed a Bachelor or Postgraduate degree from UniSQ in any discipline.

This is an Identified position and is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. For this position, it is a genuine occupational requirement that it be filled by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as permitted under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991(Qld). Therein, the term First Nations is specifically in reference to Australian First Nations peoples.

Term: Full-time fixed-term appointment for 12 months (36 hrs/week). Please note that consideration may be given for the appointment to be fractional (18 hrs/week) for 2 years.
Salary: Total remuneration range $81,768 to $86,860 pa (includes salary range of $69,090 to $73,393 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
