We are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a Fitter and Turnertojoin our Nutrien Water Lameroo, SA team.
About the role:
Reporting to the branch manager you will undertake repairs and breakdown support for Nutrien Water Lameroo clients. In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Stripping, assessing and repairing pumps
- General machining of parts and fabrication
- Machine pump shafts
- Re-assembling pumps
- Machine and rebuild Centrifugal Clutches
- Repair right angle gearboxes
- Fabrication of general machinery parts
About You:
To be successful, it is desirable if you can demonstrate:
- Experience with Pumps, Pivots and Bores in a technical/ maintenance role
- Current qualification as Millwright or Fitter and Turner
- Understanding of the irrigation and water industry in Australia
- Ability to work in a team and take the lead when needed
- Communications skills
- Positive Can-do attitude and eager to learn and grow
- Ability to work effectively in a safety-focused environment
